Dr. Jimmy
Thomas, my Plastic surgeon gone off to Qatar and when I tried to contact him,
his assistant said he’ll be back by December so I decided to wait but
again I informed by his assistant on this late December that Dr. Jimmy Thomas
is planning to stay there for another 8 or 9 months and it would be better if I
search for another specialist. So I’ll have to think about another plastic
surgeon and my doctor’s suggestion is to consult Dr. Vijayakumar a plastic
surgeon Fort Hospital Trivandrum.
Well, as per
my doctors consent, my appointment at fort hospital was today at 10 am and I found
Dr. Vijayakumar is not happy with my case. His opinion was my nose's skin is considerably thicker than normal ones so shaving off skin can cause
bunny nose effect means button nose like clowns and reducing the size by one or
two millimeters could satisfy through this but reducing 2 mm is not really
pleasing. Then the second way is the surgeon has to find one cartilage
from ear and put in my nose which is called rhinoplasty and that is the way which Dr. Vijayakumar
preferring but he is afraid that it could affect breathing as my nostrils are so small so he wish to get a
second opinion from Dr. Jayakumar, a senior plastic surgeon Specialist Hospital
Ernakulum. I wonder Dr. Jimmy Thomas has never mentioned such kind of problems
on my case and once he assured me that it’s a simple case and we could do
inside his clinic itself no need of me to go to any hospital for this silly
surgery. Wish him to be back, but I know this wish won’t change into
reality. And the truth is I gonna suffer again and again and finally another
Dr. Sreejith could come on screen and everything gonna shatter like a sand
castle like the last time happened. But this time it’s not going to hurt
me much since it is not a long 3 year agenda and this kinda experience is not
something 'NEW' to me..
